Mahesh Kumar Murthy is an Architectural Illustrator/ Designer with 20+ years experience in India, Germany, and Dubai. He has been exposed to all facets of the design process including concept, competitions, development and approved design. He has recently completed projects using immersive real-time VR experiences and web-browser based 3d interactive presentations on the cloud.
Significant projects include the GE-India Technology Centre at Bangalore, Infosys IT Park at Pune and IT campuses for Texas Instruments and SAP Labs in Bangalore. In 2004, upon relocating to Germany, he collaborated with Architekten Bernhard & Kögl for a successful nation-wide design competition bid for the FCA Fußball Stadion in Augsburg.
Subsequently in 2006, he joined one of the world's largest architectural firms RMJM in Dubai. Notable projects are the Capital Gate, Abu Dhabi and the Shenzen Convention & Exhibition Centre in Zhuhai. Upon returning to India in 2010, he lead a 50 staff-strong studio at one of India's leading Architectural Visualization firms in New Delhi. In 2011, he moved back to his hometown of Bangalore and joined Metaform a start-up design firm.
Since 2013, he works independently under the label MKM and has successfully completed work on more than a dozen projects of varying scale and building types.
